How to Remove Any Sticker from Your Ford

You bought a beautiful new car from Short-Redmond Ford of LaFollette, but you'd rather not keep the sticker on the rear liftgate or tailgate advertising where you got it. That's ok. This Autoblog Details video shows exactly how to remove any sticker without a trace.

What you'll need:

  • WD-40
  • Goo Gone
  • Microfiber towel

The easiest way to get rid of a sticker that involves the fewest special materials is with WD-40. Simply use your fingernail to pull up a corner of the sticker, then spray WD-40 under it, continuing to spray lubricant as you pull. For best results, pull parallel with the vehicle's surface, rather than pulling away from it.

If any adhesive remains, you can clean it up with more WD-40 if you don't want to buy another product, or with an adhesive cleaner like Goo Gone for faster results. Wipe with a clean microfiber towel.
