All-New Top Gear America Takes on Ford F-150 Raptor for First Episode

It's been a tough run of luck for Top Gear. The BBC series was hosted for decades by a beloved trio of snarky hosts, led by Jeremy Clarkson. When Clarkson was forced to leave due to, ahem, anger-management issues, things seemed to fall apart.

The show seems to be finding its stride again after a rocky few years, including premiering a new Top Gear America, which aired on BBC America last night.

In an exclusive Autoblog clip, we see celebrity host William Fichtner raving about the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor. Off-road performance enthusiasts in La Follette are well aware of the F-150 Raptor's incredible all-terrain handling, which Fichtner calls "a precision instrument. A fighter jet on four wheels."

The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor is a purpose-built desert racer, designed to be delivered to customers with all the high-speed off-road performance they need for competitive driving right out of the box, eliminating the need for warranty-voiding modifications.
